Who else is going to E3 this year?
 

I got my email confirmation the other day. A couple of friends from work and myself will be going. I'm pretty excited as this will be my first E3. Anyone here going?

For those in the game industry, or even a store that sells games, go to E3 Expo and register.

Let's get an E3 specualtion going on here as well.


I hope to play Halo 2, Metroid Prime 2, Half Life 2, Doom 3, a new Mario game, new Zelda, Conker Live and Uncut. I also hope they show some tech demos for the new systems.

I'm hopefully going....got my barcode all printed out. Only 3 managers at work though, and we all can't go on the same day...so I better be able to find a ride with someone one of the days :) Im looking foreward to seeing Doom 3 and Halflife 2....Also curious to see the PSP and the Nintendo DS (although I am skeptical of the DS).

I'll be workin it.... hope I get some time to walk around

of last year.

I wish I was going to E3. :( Maybe one of these years I'll make the trip down but I guess I'll just have to rely on Copenhagen for all the E3 swag...again.

yup i'll be going again. it'll be 3rd one also. ill prolly sattend the first 2 days like last year. I wonder how many games from last years show will be there again lol. I haven't sent my info out yet ill prolly send it on monday.

What do you need to go? I work in several stores that sell games, and in the game departments.

Do you call them? Send a copy of your paystub? How does it work and is it completely free if you qualify or do you have to pay still?

I'll go if I can get tix to the Sony party this time.

I'm going to GDC instead. More promising things await me there.

I'll be going, seventh year straight. Probably demoing Thief III. Hope I can get some time to walk around as well.

I've been a few times before, but I was being kind of sneaky.

This year I may have a legitimate reason to be there, as me and a couple friends are developing a game based on an existing property that we're trying to shop around - and a couple of development houses are going to get us in.

I'll get you as much Final Fantasy stuff as I can carry.

What free stuff do you get for going? I currently work at EB so I'm talking about going if I can talk my friend into it, but I'm also a journalist. So I can go either way, no questions asked obviously.

Just wondering what kind of freebies they have at E3? Just trying to get an idea. Thanks in advance for those who already have gone in the past. What else do they have there, I've seen the website, but what can others tell me about it?
