Platinum GameCube question
 

I have heard that the platinum color on the Gamecube will start to come off over time. Is this true? I like the look of it better than the black and indigo, but this loss of color over time has me a bit concerned. Thanks.

Mine still looks perfect and I've had it awhile. I'm sure this is a bigger problem with the Game Boy since you handle it all the time and the oils in your hands will wear away the color. I don't see it being a major issue with the Cube as long as you take care of it.

I have been taking my platinum Gamecube to my weekly naked oil wrestling matches for six months and the paint hasn't worn off yet.
