KOTR - XBOX - disk scratched
Ugh... My Xbox Knights of the Old Republic disk has a scratch on it and it will randomly go to the "this is not an xbox disk" screen when loading from the Disk.
I've tried to clean the disk, but it still happens. Any suggestions? |
Take a look in the manual and see if the company will replace bad discs after the warranty expired (they'll probably charge a fee).

You might want to try this place:
http://www.skunkarific.com/ They're local to me, and they do a great job repairing disks. Cheap too. Not sure if they can do games, but they've repaired CDs and DVDs for me. |
My disk was in mint condition, and had problems at certain places, such as an underwater airlock, and a desert hunting lodge. If it screwed up, I would eject the disk, and let it reload the level again. The only disadvantage was that this screwed up the time counter, and I finished the game with over 150000 hours logged.
