GameCube Bundle for $79.99 on Black Friday at Walmart

ripped from vgtalk.com:

$99.99 sounds like a good deal for the GameCube. How does $79.99 sound to you? That's how much the GameCube is going to cost at Walmart the day after Thanksgiving, better known as Black Friday. The price has been leaked out, and CZroe over at Anandtech was lucky enough to score the GC for $79.99 before this date at Peachtree City, GA (they goofed up), and has the scan to prove it. You'll also get the new Zelda Bundle Pak and a free gamecase - looks like a hot deal to me! Just make sure you set you alarm clock early that morning.

Regarding Black Friday deals, check out our VGtalk Official Black Friday Sales Thread.

Good deal for those that don't have a Cube or are looking for a gift idea

Or a second Cube maybe?

Hmm.. I've been pondering a game cube... and now it looks like I have a reason to get one..

I'll have to make sure I get there when Walmart opens on black friday. I'm sure they will fly off the shelves very quickly.

I tend to avoid Black Friday if at all possible, so forgive the question: will this deal be available on the website so I can avoid the 2-3 hour lines?

I've been begging my wife for a GC for weeks...ever since Rogue Squadron III came out. There's also several games for the kids that are GC exclusive we want. She keeps saying no cuz we have an X Box...maybe she's just planning a Xmas present.

I messaged her phone with the sale news....her response: "That's nice honey."

Oh yeah - she's getting it for me...she's playin me off....

How about buying it now and then price matching it later? Would that work?

You should be able to pricematch later.

Why would you want to do that, AFAIK the Zelda package isn't out yet, and wouldn't that be the one to get?

edit: just noticed that in the receipt picture it is indeed the Zelda bundle.

If you go to Wal-Mart the night before Black Friday, I will bet they will have them out. Then you can purchase one and get the price match later.

It's also possible that other stores other than Wal-Mart may offer other Nintendo Gamecube deals. I think that this Christmas will be the season of great Gamecube deals. I hope this carries over to all the consoles. Competition is great!!

Good deal. Not worth Walmart on Black Friday (saw what that was like last year) but definitely a good deal.

No kidding... I bought one from ToysRUs a few weeks back, so I was initially irritated to see this... but come on; do you really want to be at WalMart the day after Thanksgiving? Yikes!!

I'm just going to buy it the week before Thanksgiving (bundle comes out the 17th, right?) and then pricematch it.

I passed by Wal-Mart about 2 hours before opening last Black Friday and there was a line of about 200 people (they closed for a few hours before 6am or so). So I went to Circuit City and got my $150 27" Apex TV
