Xbox Live Version 3.0

I've been reading some rumors about Xbox Live Version 3, and just wanted to pass it on.

New Features:
1. First up is voice email
2. The ability to communicate with your friends across games.
3. Download Avatars and place them with Gamertag names in game!

note: word has it that XSN will finally be finished with pre-season Nov. 15th.

They really need to incorporate MSN Messenger somehow too!
I'm sure it's in their project plan.

Are you talking about new features included in the Live Starter kit V 3.0?

Or are these features of a proposed next upgrade of the Live system?

BTW : I really think it sux that some stores are still selling the 1.0 starter kits at full price after they have expired. I wonder if the codes will still work...

Live for Xbox 2 will be designed to work with the new version of Windows (longhorn) that's supposed to release in 06. Apart from that, they aren't really working on a live 3.0 right now.
