Not scary, more like stupid. A few years ago I thought I would like seeing video games on huge billboards and mainstream magazines, but now that its happening, I relaly regret that desire. These ads are further making people think video games are just for kids or a stupid and "immature". Lots of video games are becoming art in a sense [most RPG's, the Medal of Honor series, etc] and lots of games are becoming impressive reproductions of real life activities [Gran Turismo, Virtua Fighter, most sports games] and yet these ads are just saying "Hey, video games are still silly and empty diversions about Italian plumbers, monkeys, and cute and cuddly dinosaurs". That, and everything these stupid heads are being pasted on aren't really that funny, come on..works of art, great sporting events, wonderful cities, famous bands? They just defile it..so much.
And this isn't fanboyism, I'd say the same thing if it were giant Sonic heads and giant Sony logos being used..it's just sick.
