Max Payne 2 video card and memory question

I picked up Max Payne 2 last night, and I had a few question before I install it....

First, I have a 2.2 ghz 384mb RAM Geforce 2 32mb video card.

As far as I know, this exceeds the min requirements. I did recently buy another 265 stick of memory which would boost my memoey up to 512. My question is, should I get more memory or is 512 good? Should I get a 64mb video card for 49 bucks (Geforce 2) or a 128mb card for 108 bucks (Geforce FX). I don't need top of the line, make you sweat, mind blowing graphics, but I'd like a decent experience at least. Also, what is better, Geforce cards or ATI cards? Any pros or cons?

Both are PCI, so unfortunately they are more expensive. I totally wish I had an AGP slot, but anyway. That also reminds me of one last question. On the min system requirements it says "32mb Directx 9 compatible AGP card required. Does that mean a PCI card, even at 64 or 128 is out of luck?

any ideas?

I don't pay attention much to which cards are PCI, but if possible, i'd get the Geforce FX over the Geforce 2. No point in going with old technology. AGP/PCI system requirements shouldn't matter. I prefer ATI, but i'm not sure what cards they offer as PCI.
