For the next three days (Oct. 14-16) Futureshop (a Canadian electronic retailer) has a $40 mail-in rebate on the Gamecube system.

I don't know about shipping to the US (the site only mentions free shipping within Canada). And the MIR does not specify a Canadian mailing address.
