New to Xbox (question about live)
 

Hi all. I recently got an xbox from my girlfriend and I was wondering how Xbox live works. It sounds like fun and all, but I'm not sure what I need to buy/do/pay. I've looked at other posts for this (sure are a lot of them) and I'm still confused. If anyone can lend me a hand and give me some info about this I'd greatly appreciate it. And on more thing, can I play Halo online? Thanks a lot guys.

What you need:
1. XBOX Live
2. High Speed Internet (DSL/CABLE)
3. Cable to connect XBOX to Cable Modem (I recommend getting a router so you can share the connections)
4. Games to play on Live
5. First year will be free when you buy the XBOX Live kit, then it will be $50/year after that.

HALO:
1. Yes and No
- YES: You can play it using XBOXConnect I believe, it's a program for your PC, I've never used it.
- NO: Cannot play it on XBOX Live.....must wait for Halo 2, coming in March supposedly.
