Any difference between Sly Cooper and Sly Cooper (GH)?

I was able to find the non-GH Sly Cooper for the GH price at Best Buy. I noticed the two versions have different cover art and prefer the old version. Is anyone aware of any differences, such as bug fixes that might only be in the newer pressings, that would make a case for getting the GH version? Thanks.

If there are any differences, they wouldn't be published and most likely would go unnoticed anyway as noone's going to take the time to play both versions and compare them.

Companies do sometimes add minor fixes when games are rereleased though, so I usually go with the GH version, as I could care less about the cover art.

I have never heard of a greatest hits title that was modified at all, do you know of any examples?

Silent Hill 2.. GH version added the extra content from the Xbox version.

Crash Bandicoot supposely has better loading times in the GH version.

There were a few changes to GH titles in the PS1 days, like Soviet Strike.

I can't come up with any specific, I've just saw interviews here in there mentioning that later presses of console games often have "patches" to fix minor bugs. GH are generally the lattests presses a game gets, so they should have all the fixes if any exist for that game.

Crash Bandicoor and Silent Hill are the best examples. I know there were a few others out there...can't remember now though.

Red Faction had some extras on it, other game trailers I know for sure, it has been a while since I played that.

Anyone else annoyed that VF4: Evolution isn't available without that ugly red moniker? i'm very shallow, yes i am.

That is why it pays to pay attention on what games are going to become greatest hits. Kingdom hearts went GH on Monday and I found that and Sly cooper in their original cases but at GH prices.

Anybody know when Splinter Cell is going to GH?

Yeah, that would've helped if VF4:EVO didn't already start as a GH title when it first came out.

Finally someone that agrees with me about ugly greatest hit packaging. I hate finding out that a game goes GH but cannot find it in the original packaging

i think most people, including me, think the greatest hits packaging is ugly. i haven't heard or read of anyone that likes it.

I did agree the greatest hit version (Red line) is pretty ugly. Also, it cutting part of the cover :(

That is the reason why i have pickup the orginal copy as soon as possible :)
