One of the reasons why I really like it on the GCN is you don't have to worry about the battery dying anymore.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to get it in a color that I don't like.

Yes but imagine a gold platinum style one to go with the theme? :D

You'd think that would be a problem, but none of my NES cart have any battery problems.. (yet).. I think I had an old B&W Gameboy battery die a long time ago, that's it. Oh, and Saturn batteries..

Tempting, yes, but I'd probably still go with black to match most of my other toys in the entertainment center.

I'd have to think about it if both options were available...

I have a question about the availability of this package...is it a store exclusive (like Toys R Us only), Internet only, or will it be available everywhere?

Just wondering if anyone had heard...or based on previous Gamecube bundles. Thanks.

It will be interesting to see if this is available outside the bundle, or if Nintendo intends to screw over its loyal customers.

So Nintendo is obligated to give this away to everyone? Instead of slamming Nintendo for only giving it away to new system purchasers, you should be praising them for offering anything at all.

I don't think he's asking Nintendo to give it away to early adopters. But it would be nice if they offered it for sale separately, and not making people who paid 200 for Gamecube (I'm one of these people) have to buy another system just to get this disc. These practices are great for late adopters, but it's making me really reconsider supporting Nintendo's next console early on.

I'm surpised they aren't seeing the marketability of selling this disc seperate for a discout price.. $29.99? Sounds good to me, I'd buy it.

CharlesC 10-10-03 05:00 PM

It would need to come with that big ass map that came with the first Zelda for me to buy it. I'd get lost otherwise!

Trevor 10-10-03 07:47 PM

I agree that it would be great to be able to get the disc without buying a system, and if I had to guess I'd say we will be able to, but I don't think we should be slamming Nintendo if we don't get our way.
