- All subscriptions are 12 months unless otherwise specified.
- If you see a price of "X Magazine $XX.XX/3 yr - $XX.XX per year," that doesn't mean you can buy only one year at that price (just the three-year at that price). That's just a calculation so that you can compare prices. Each price will have its own line.
- For eBay auctions - I'm human. I sometimes miss stuff, like shipping and handling. Please read the entire auction and make your decision accordingly.

Nintendo has a ba-jillion offers on thier site for subs to Nin. Power including free t-shirts, soundtracks, and more. You get to select which promotion you want. $19.95 for 1 year, less for 2 or 3.

I can't access Nintendo's site from work but if somebody wants to link to the subscriptions site..

I only think it should stay separate from the faq thread cuz people will come up with free subs every once in awhile and they should go here.

Better offer for OXM: $14.95 for one year. Doesn't say "No disc" so I presume demo cd is included.

Most of those items are not worth the $8.

Trust me, if it doesn't say disc included, it most probably isn't. Almost NO ONE will say "Disc not included" because ommitting it sounds better. If you e-mail them then they have to tell you disc not included.

For best results, do a thorough ebay search before you pay the prices in the first message. Most are usually cheaper on ebay. I've been subscribing to mags thru ebay for years and have never had a problem. Sometimes, the magazine you want might not be available on the day you look for it, but keep checking every few days and it will probably show up.

Hey yes it does say no disc included (message before the one above). I missed that :D

Pretty much when you are dealing with demo DVDs, if it doesn't specifically say "INCLUDED," then assume it isn't. It's a cutthrout world out there in the publishing business.

OXM is one of the hardest to find a deal on.

BTW if you find a deal too good to be true, make a printout. I printed out where it says disc included for the $14 a year OPM deal. It's not that I worry that they are scamming me, it's just that it might have been a mistake and this way they either have to honor it or give me my money back.

Now I'm actually considering re-subscribing to the Official Playstation Magazine... that's also a tough one to get a good deal on, with the demo disc. I figure that 3 year sub should at least take me through to the PS3, hmmm?

I just this hour got 4 years of Gamepro for $7.97 on ebay.

Not a great mag, but for about 15 cents an issue it is good bathroom reading.

Trevor I think we got the same guy. I had bought that previously (but didn't find additional ones to post) and he wanted $0.50 more for CC payments through PayPal... I decided to pay him from my bank account, but PayPal wouldn't let me because it deemed the situation too risky by the fraud department.

So I had to mail in a payment.

Thanks. I've been needing to renew my EGM subscription as it ran out in June and they never sent me any notices. $24.95 for four years is a great deal, since I was getting ready to pay the same for 2 years!

I think I've seen it even cheaper at some of the magazine sites. But to be honest, the magazine is pretty worthless without the disc.

Important Notice:

AVOID THE EBAY SELLER SDMAGSINC. I just got 4 out of 5 magazine payments returned (so far) because he can't fulfill them (at least I got the funds back) and he just got a rash of negative comments because he's doing this A LOT. I got a full refund but others state he's charged a fee or offered partial refunds, sent wrong magazines or the magazine for a wrong period of time (1 year vs 3 years).

In his e-mail he asks you to leave a positive because of his honesty in giving you a refund for an item he can't provide!

Please beware.
