ESPN NFL Franchise Question?
 

I was just wondering if you can place players on INJURED RESERVE???? My QB (Joey Harrington) went down for 8 weeks, which means he probably won't be back till the end of the season (or after). I wanted to pick up a free agent QB, but I don't want to release anyone to do this.

Also, does anyone use the players they unlock in CRIBS mode??? Does anyone know what players you can unlock????

I almost picked up the T to help my protection/running game for the Lions, but he wanted like $9 million/year....

As far as I've seen, there is no IR. A pretty big oversight.

As far as unlocked players that I know of, I'll put them in spoiler tags just in case someone doesn't want the surprise ruined:



Obviously, a mix of old NFLers and video game characters. They are all rated at 100. There seems to be some confusion over whether you can sign an unlocked Free Agent during a season, but I haven't actually tried to. The one thing I do know is that they are all ridiculously expensive.

Also, if you haven't seen yet, I believe the XBOX roster update is up now.
