We are trying to update it here to, going really slow as well.

It worked. The menus move so slow.

Might take some time to get used to the interface.
I would think that if you have one 1 LIVE account it wouldn't make you select an account when you click on XBOX LIVE in the dash.

Not sure what game to throw in to test this out. All I've been playing is Tetris lately. Not sure I'm up to FPS speed at this hour of night.

Argh.. I'll check it out when I get home.

I just wish there were more games I wanted to play online. :(
I cancelled PSO already because, I didn't feel I was getting $10 a month out of it.. waaah.

I tried three different times last night and the server was so bogged down it wouldn't start the download. I will try it again tonight.

I got mine at 4 this morning.

I went on when others were having problems last night, and mine downloaded in about 10 seconds. It's awesome :D.

I like the setup, but the time it takes for a menu to load is pretty ridiculous. Also, when I turn my XBox on it goes right to the main Live screen instead of the system Main Menu--is there a way to turn this off? I don't want Live to load everytime I turn on my system.

i think if you exit live the next time you power up it knows you last exited live and will wait for you to go back to live. not 100% sure tho.

I haven't updated yet, but I think there's an option to turn off the auto-login.

After a couple of trys last night I was able to download the new menus. So far it looks pretty good.

How do you get Xbox Live to update? There doesn't seem to be any options to do so. Do I need to purchase a recent game?

When I went to play the Moto GP demo that came with my Xbox Live...it then downloaded the update. Took a few minutes to update.

I can't get it to force the update either. I guess it will happen eventually.

When I signed up, it automatically upgraded me; I din't even get a choice.

Try logging in to LIVE through the console, without a game in the box.

They removed the download for now. They are patching the bugs and it should be back soon.

Thanks for the info. I haven't been losing sleep or anything, but it was kind of bugging me.
