Medal of Honor: Breakthrough goes gold, demo drops 9/10

But it's still not available anywhere that I've seen. Hopefully by the time I get home from work today it'll be up.

Anyone play Spearhead regularly here? I know we had threads on it before, but I've been playing fairly regularly, usually on ELS Tug-of-War servers.

It's a MOH:AA expansion pack that's being released late this month. Google for it... shouldn't be too hard to find info on it.

Download it from:

3D Gamers

As promised, Electronic Arts has now released the multiplayer demo of Medal of Honor: Allied Assault Breakthrough, offering a chance to try out this imminent first-person shooter expansion pack by TKO Software. The demo introduces the new Liberation mode and sports two maps, Anzio and Palermo, along with a variety of new weapons and more.

the torrent link currently only has 1 seed, so it's pretty slow. :/

The demo doesn't hold a candle to the COD demo, IMO.

Agreed, it was kind of weak. Both maps felt really small. The Objective map was basically another version of Capture the Flag, except the Allieds can't take the flag and put it somewhere safe, they have to leave it pinned to the wall.

Liberation was neat, though, especially as someone in jail and watching someone come to free you... then the bust happens, and everyone is fighting like mad with all the opponents that have come to stop you from escaping.

I wasn't thrilled with the Spearhead demo, but I play it a lot now... hopefully the retail version of Breakthrough will grab me, too.

I have to agree, especially since I played (again) the COD demo waiting for this to download.
