Very first Resident Evil question

What the name of the piano piece Jill has to play at the beginning of the very first Resident Evil? Wasn’t it Nocturne in E flat or something? Isn’t that the same as all those cel phones play when they ring?

I'm pretty sure there have been other questions about Resident Evil posted to this forum.

I believe it's Moonlight Sonata - Beethoven

I'm just glad the master of unlocking wasn't turned into a Jill sandwich...

Been awhile since I've played Resident Evil, but Moonlight Sonata - First Movement by Beethoven . Its a super long piece, like 12 minutes long.

Since we're on the topic, I have another Resident Evil piano question. What's the piece they play in Resident Evil Zero? The scene is pretty funny. I know my classics pretty good, but I can't place that one even though it sounds really good.

edit: I think i just killed that midi site...poor thing.

I'm pretty sure it's Freebird - Lynyrd Skynyrd

(looks like they reached their bandwidth limit for the month - we probably shouldn't have both clicked the link...)

Man, I miss the dialogue in that game!

"Step back Jill, I'm going to kick this door DOWN!"

Well not so much as a scene the as when they play the piano, but it tells you a lot about the characters and is a joke to people who've played the first Resident Evil.

Gonna have to put this in spoiler tags since its the solution to one of the puzzles.

Spoiler:
Remember that in the first Resident Evil, Rebecca was the one who figured out how to play the piano in Chris's quest. Well in RE Zero, that takes place before Resident Evil, we would all expect Rebecca to be able to play the piano nicely since of course she did it in RE. So most people like myself switched to her and tried playing it with her first, figuring that it would work. But when you make her do it in Zero, she makes all sorts of mistakes and mis-notes. But then if you switch to Billy, he will play it perfectly. Not what you'd expect from a convicted killer?

thanks ^sam^!
