What's Your Most Highly Anticipated Game Left This Year?

It was very cool to be able to customize your character, right down to gender, race, appearance, and light saber. The graphics are pretty good as well, despite the aging Q3 engine.
However, the game itself left a lot to be desired. The level design was mediocre...one level was a short and standard "crate" fest on Tatooine. The other level was a little better...but it was your typical "platform jumping" level. Nothing special about either of them. The weapons (apart from the light-saber) left a lot to be desired as well.

I think it's safe to say very few games come out before their release date.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes got bumped til March '04. Pikmin 2 got shoved til May '04. Nintendo just signed a deal with AOL. Online, anyone? Details on AOL deal are on IGN. The date changes uhh, suck. Something's up.

Thanks Groucho
I just found that out
Thanks Groucho...
I am just pumped the game has been strict on the D&D rules and procedures. I like the P&P D&D, and this should appeal to our kind! I hope it rocks, and that people are discussing it. I like to hear about the new finds people stumble across etc. Thanks though...

I'm also kind of excited for the Magic the Gathering: Battlegrounds game. Not much has been mentioned about it other than it is supposedly due out in November but i'm hoping it will be like the old Magic game on the PC that gave you access to a bunch of the cards and you built your deck and played against the computer or other people online. Something that doesn't require you to buy booster packs like the current Magic the Gathering on the PC does...

From the video on OXM, the MTG: Battlegrounds game looks to be more of a RTS type game, with actual monsters duking it out and such. In other words, not at all like the PC versions of the card game.

My list originally would have been
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
Ninja Gaiden
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
But now it also includes the rumored Zelda bonus disc. I just hope the rumor comes true...

I think it's the most recent issue of OXM that has the Battlegrounds video on the disc. It was hard to tell what exactly what was going on with all the explosions and shit, but it didn't look like the card game to me. I will be keeping an eye on the title regardless, as either way it could be cool.

I was never that "in" to the MTG games as I was the D&D... What is the deal w/ the MTG? Is it going to be similar to the Temple of Elemental Evil? If it is that good, I will go for it. I am excited about the upcoming RPG's... is this another one to buy?

From the looks of it, the upcoming MTG game is nothing like TOEE. From the video, it appears to be more of a Real-Time Strategy game (think Warcraft 3).
Speaking of The Temple of Elemental Evil, the release date for that game has been pushed up. It's now shipping tomorrow (9/16), which is good news for those of us anticipating the game.

You are correct!!!!!
It is official... the game is out tomorrow!! I am pretty excited, although I have to spend money I wasn't expecting to spend until the end of the month. Oh well, I can miss a meal or two for the D&D game!!! It is worth it to me.
C'mon september 16th!!

GROUCHO...
Since you had shown anticipation b4 the release, I have aquick question...
Before you identify certain potions, can they be stacked to avoid using so much space in the inventory.? I have been discussing this w/ others and we cannot find the answer...Thanks
