This is a much better deal...

I look at the current deals and PS2 is looking very pricey at $199, especially since it's at least a year older than the X-Box.

This part of the article is also interesting (and might convince me to purchase an X-Box before Christmas)

With this game combo, a price drop doesn't seem very likely.

That is a great deal. It'll also make sure that they'll be a lot more people playing that game online than the 10-12 games that seem to be on every time I check.

Like I said before, Xbox may corner the hardcore online market, but Sony's making a really strong play to get the casual gamers online and I think it's the right strategy for them.

At the end of the article they say that they think the drop to $149 wopn't be until 2004 now.
