XBOX/Scratch Question
 

I bought Madden yesterday, I came home and put it in. I didn't think to check the disk for scratches. About 3 hours of play, the game freezes up. So I reset, and the XBOX freezes. So I look at the back of the disk and there is a scratch in a perfect circle all the way around the disk, right in the middle. So my question is, did the disk come this way? Or is it possible the XBOX somehow scratched it ? I am kind of afraid to put anything in.
Anyone else ever have this problem ?

No but I bought a game from BBV that looked scratch free. Froze up on me after an hour, then the xbox wouldn't read it even after I cleaned the disc. It didn't matter how many times I put the disc in. I ended up having to use a cleaning "paste" that fills in the scratches so the laser glides right over them, then a polishing solvent after that. The disc is super slick now and reads fine.
