NASCAR Thunder 2003
I have this on Xbox, top game I really like it.
But I have a question. Playing Season mode or a one off race, I'm racing around, generic car setup, the opposition always seem to get to a certain point then speed away. Does tyre wear/damage really effect your speed that much? I just can't seem to match them, even if I change around the car setup and play around with it.

You need to learn how to use drafting real well and also learn the optimum driving lines. After you break out of the pack and its down to you and the top 5 or so its all about technique. The practice mode or Petty driving school helps alot. Good Luck!
