How is "Medal of Honor: Frontline" on PS2?
I read a slightly negative review at ign.com, but wanted to know from you guys. I've played the GameCube version (with multiplayer) and thought it was one of the best FPS I've ever played....maybe better than Goldeneye.
How do you feel about it?

It's the same game as the GC version as far as I know, with likely slightly crappier graphics and longer load times.
I played the demo and thought it was pretty good, but I'd see no reason to bother with it if you've already played the GC version.
If you mean that you just tried the GC version (and don't own and GC or X-box) then I'd pick up the PS2 version as the differences are likely negligible (as long as you don't mind slightly inferior graphics and longer load times).

Then I'd pick it up on the PS2 since you liked it. All versions are identical, other than minor graphical differences and different loading times.
I'd actually imagine it would play better with the PS2 controller though, as you use both analog sticks and the C-stick on the GC controller sucks.

I read that the controls are actually which caused it to be poor on PS2.
Also, one thing I don't like, is there appears to be no multiplayer version on PS2, or if there is it's not 4-player. That sucks.

I couldn't imagine the control being worse. Unless the reveiwer didn't use the default 2 stick control setting, thus negating the c-stick on the GC controller (at the expense of more precise control).
I'm not sure about the multiplayer, that wasn't available in the demo.

I liked the game a lot. The next MOH is coming out soon so maybe Frontline will drop in price. The opening level on the beach is still one of the most awesome VG sequences I've ever experienced. A big thumbs up!

I played it on PS2, and thought the controls were terrible. Not the layout, but the movement was way too jerky. Maybe I was just too used to playing Halo at that point. Now that it's a greatest hits on XBOX, I'll probably pick it up, and try it again.
