I just got my pre-order disc from EB (in-store). It's got the Atari arcade game, Rogues Squadron III playable/movie, Gladius trailer, and concept art. The classic arcade game uses a memory card (I guess to track scores) which I thought was wierd for a demo disk. Hell yeah...5 bucks well spent.

My local best buy (southern california) had a ton of these disks last week. They had a pricetag of 5 bucks, but none of the workers knew if it was to preorder the game, and I wasn't about to pay 5 bucks just for the demo. Even if it includes multiplayer RS2 and other neat things...

I pre-ordered RS3 today and got the preview disc. Star Wars Arcade is alot of fun, wish I could say the same thing about the RS3 demo. I won't be picking up RS3 now.

Where did you hear it was the 27th? Gamestop by me just got it in wednesday. Of course the closest EBgames has no clue when they will get theirs in since they have stupid employees working there.

DVD Talk Legend
Picked up the disc yesterday and the demo did nothing to interest me in buying the game. It seems to have all the same problems as RLII. Its everything I hated about the last game times 2. Bad controls, useless radar and its still very easy to get completely lost during air battles, and people whinning non stop for you to save them. No thanks.
Star Wars Arcade was fun to play and I guess thats about all I got for my $5. Should have gotten the Simpsons hat instead.

Question......
It's good that this SW title is coming out soon but why isn't this title coming out for the PS2? It's a well known fact that this console has a large user installed base and it would be a no-brainer to have this title on this console for the developers to make money.

Thanks for the response I just don't see the logic of it all if Factor 5 went multi-platform with this title they could have even made more money with this title. I'm sure they are smart enough to realize that haven't they?

Using that logic, then nothing third-party would be exclusive.
Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft pay some companies for exclusivity. It's how the business has always worked.

I'd love to have to own only one system to play everything.

All right they own Factor 5 but when does the SW license expire?
