Who here has the BBuster Gamer Freedom Pass?

Just picked it up for $19.99 + tax and I got a $5 giftcard for signing up. It's going through the end of September, so my membership will renew in August and September and go through the end of October, so for $60 (or $55 if you count the giftcard) I get three months of rentals. I've been buying so many games that I don't touch that I got sick of it and plan to rent more from now on.

You get to have 1 game out at any time. Even in 1 single day you can keep switching them, so you pretty much can cycle through as many games as you want. This is great if you want a preview of a game you were thinking of buying it. Pop it in, play it an hour, decide that you do want it, and switch the rental.

Hopefully it does well and it's here to stay.

First game: Downhill Domination for the PS2 Next one: Enter the Matrix.

I got it last year... it's too damn restrictive now. It doesn't really seem like a good value anymore. It was cool at first cuz you could have 2 games at a time and stuff.

The BB's in my area have a crap selection of Xbox games. For some reason you can find 10 copies of Kabuki Warriors, but only one or two copies of new releases.

Now if Hollywood Video had something like that, I'd be all over it since their seletion locally is waaaaay better that BB's.

I'm actually glad that they made it more restricitive... it should be easier to find games than if people have two games out at once.

As it is, I'll pass too. The BBs near me have a decent selection that is all but wiped out in the summertime as it is. Since people can keep games as long as they want, you might never see a game like NCAA 2004 at all.

Is this card good at any BB, or just the one you buy it from?
