Where to buy a NES/Famicon 60 to 72 Pin converter?

Anyone know? I bought a Game Axe (Portable Famicom system), and to play American NES games I need a 60 to 72 pin converter. I can't seen to find these anywhere. Anyone have an idea of where to buy them?

Ebay most likely.

There is another way, but it can be hard to find one this way. There are some versions of some carts that come with the adapter. The only one I can remember off hand is Excitebike (although most Excitebikes don't have them). You can tell by cartridge weight. If you manage to find one of these carts, just open it up and you can take the adapter out.

Hey, I have these carts... (There also found in Duck Hunts)

Im still trying to figure out if this is what I 'need'.

I need a 60 TO a 72 pin, not the opposite way around.

Famicom is a 60 pin output.
NES is a 72 pin out.

The adapter inside is a 72 pin output to a 60 pin (A NES to Famicom). I need the complete opposite. Or am I just confused?

Oh, you're right. I think that is backwards. I'm not sure if it could be made to wrk or not.

Here's one for $15.

I read one positive comment about the retailer, but buy at your own risk.

Pixy, ok great. You know its the 60 pin o 72 pin correct (So I could play NES games on a Famicom system, not Famicom games on a NES System)

Yes.. I know.. I got a box a couple of years ago with 3 Famicoms, 2 Disk Systems, 1000 pirate games and a few other toys. I remeber us playing NES games on the Famicom so there's got to be at least ONE in there.. there was also a Game Doctor but I never figured out how to get it to work.
