Didn't know where to post this....

I know this is a DVD sight that has a game forum.....anyway.

I recently went to a Fry's electronics and browsed their anime DVD's I found some real classics like Arc the Lad. I also saw the new Arc game on PS2, "twilight of the spirits"......I bought it and have not played any other games. this Game is just like the Anime. Has strong characters...and a real deep plot.

In the future you can just start a thread with a title like "Arc the Lad - Amazing!" or something like that :D Just to give people an idea of what the thread is about.

Anyone know how this game ties into the previous three? I'm hesitant to pick this up until I finish the first three, from the Arc collection (the lackluster reviews for the PS2 game didn't help my enthusiasm either)

I saw this at the store and was also wondering about it. I've heard pretty good things about it. 8.0 by Gamespot and 8.2 by PS2IGN, which isn't too bad but they both mention that the game is fairly solid. I'll let you know after I get it.

Got ahold of this game and its pretty good! I've been playing it all weekend. It starts out slower than molasses in the beginning though and I wasn't sure if I was going to keep playing. But if you stick with it, after a few hours in the game things start getting interesting. The best part of the game though is the combat. It's similar to the strategy based battles in the previous Arc games (I've only played the first one though) and is pretty fun. You can plan your battles and moves, you'll take more damage depending on if you hit the enemy from the front, side, or back.

I'm not sure how it ties into the previous games since I've only played this one and the first one, but you don't need to play the previous games to play this one. I wouldn't rush out to get it, and its nothing groundbreaking, but considering we're in an RPG drought right now, its a fairly solid game thats not too bad.
