Best Game Rating Website?
I often go to gamepro but im not a huge fan of there ratings as most games are too high. what ar some other suggestions?
I like Gamespot.com. People seem to like gamerankings.com.
gamespot is fine, just add about 0.5 to every x-box game review and take 0.5 off of every ps2 review and its right on the money.

gamerankings.
Gamerankings is good because it uses websites' ratings to tally games' scores, so the possibility of ratings inflation is kept to a minimum.
I don't see any reason to use anything besides www.gamerankings.com
It includes links to the reviews at pretty much every game review website, so if you come to like a particular site's reviews, you can always click on those links. But if you initially look at gamerankings.com, you at least see the overall scores of many different sites and the reader review score also. |
Gamespot.com has pretty pictures :D
www.gamerankings.com is the best place to start. It then links to the other websites so you can see multiple reviews from one central location. If you just use one sight like IGN or Gamespot, you are relying on the opinion of one reviewer...rather than looking at the big picture.
I sometimes hit www.videogamereview.com, a subset of www.consumerreview.com. Like Epinions, the consumer writes up reviews and rates games [and many other products].

I also like gamerankings.com
I like gamespot.com and IGN and compare between the two and others. Planetgamecube.com is also pretty good for Gamecube reviews.
metacritic.com is a site like gamerankings that includes a combination of reviews. Also rottentomatoes.com has started a games section.
