Unearthed Arcana - Ultima Certificates
 

Had to clean my stuff out of my parents' attic today and found my old Ultima certificates.

See, at the end of the old Ultima games, it would tell you to send a letter to Lord British (Richard Garriott) and tell him you'd finished the game. Well, that's just what I did, and I've now unearthed the stack of the certificates that they sent back, with my name personally written by someone and the heavy Sharpie autograph of (I believe) Lord British himself.

Pretty cool bit of nostalgia.

I have a letter from the President of New World Computing from 1986 that I got for beating the original Might and Magic.

The last screen of the game had an address so you could let them know you beat it. I did and they sent the letter back.
