Old Mega Man games (NES)
During a recent trip to visit my mother, I brought my old NES and games home with me. My favorites were always the Mega Man series and I've been having a blast playing them again.
One of the best parts of these games was always figuring out what order to defeat the enemies most effectively (Bombman's bombs kill Gutsman, Gutsman's strength kills Cutman, etc.), but it's been so long that the only one I remember clearly is the first game. Does anyone know of a Mega Man site out there with a breakdown of the best orders to defeat the bosses in the rest of the games (2-6)? |

Heh. Mega Man.
I remember looking at screenshots of Mega Man 2 in Nintendo Power and saying "Wow, it looks like you are playing a cartoon!" I need to play those games again. |

 to retro games and nostalgia!

My favorite NES series too |

Awesome! All great links (WepaMan, yours came up invalid, though).
Thanks, guys! Anyone want to reminisce about favorite game, favorite boss, favorite weapon, etc.? |
Actually what made this cool when I was a kid, was playing with a bunch of friends and figuring out the sequence yourself. Yeah use the freeze thing here, and stuff like that, yes it takes longer but more satisfaction. But yeah mugs up to all those late nights with the NES and blowing, which I just got familiar with after moving from ASIA, we were lucky enough to be blessed with Famicoms and all in one carts.

Mega Man 3 was my favorite. Protoman, to me, was the first "cool" mystery character in a video game. I can still remember the tune he played when he appeared.
However, after 3 the series went poo poo. The games were still cool but at that point more of the same and not even different enough to warrant caring. Mega Man X re-ignited my love in the SNES days, but again.. was milked dry rather quickly. |
I'd love to see some sort of compilation game of all the original NES Megaman games on one disc or even on the GBA.

If anyone with any pull is reading this, to what DVDChris said.
