Is this worth 40 bucks? I have the first one and liked it. Anyone have this?

I rented it. It's pretty good, but not much of a huge improvement over the first. Better graphics (slightly), less floaty, more customization, but it's essentially the same game, with online play. If you want it for online, then I guess it's worth it, otherwise I would probably wait for the price drop that has to be coming along soon.

A friend of mine purchased this game, having never played the first one. He is a fan of dirt bikes, ATV's, and such - but he really enjoys it. The controls are pretty good and you can customize your rider with various styles of gear. You also can select from about 20 or so different ATV's, which seem to handle a little different from one and other. There are quite a few tracks and several of them are a blast to play head-to-head.

The single player aspect is ok, but nothing over-the-top. However, the multiplayer and online play is where the game really gets fun. If you have friends who enjoy this type of game, I would recommend picking up a copy as it is a lot of fun and easy to pick up and play. However, it you think that you will be playing solo most of the time or without online support, I'd wait to find it cheap.
