Finally beat Wind Waker and...
As I was watching the credits, right when it gets to All trademarks blah blah Nintendo blah blah. The game freezes! Hard lock and makes a buzzing sound. And of course I didn't save it for about 2 hours of play.

Spoiler:
One thing you did miss is that you didn't get to save the game after completion which apparently means something - they asked me to save the game to use for a second play through... don't know what would be different. Perhaps it would be harder? More monsters? Maybe I could actually buy something with all those rupies.
edit: oops, messed up the spoiler tag...

Yeah luckily I have seen the scene after the credits when my brother beat it earlier. I didn't save it for a long time because I knew I would be able to save afterward. I don't know what else is new in the second play through, but I do know you get the camera in the beginning (to finish up the statue collecting) and you keep the original clothes through the whole game.
I was just disappointed that the game crashed. This is the second time the game had crashed for me. Metroid Prime also crashed a few times. What's the deal here, Nintendo?

On the other hand, Rogue Squadron crashed on me a couple of times, but that was a while ago & nothing else caused a problem. Strange stuff...

I had 3 or 4 crashes in Metroid Prime, and one in Zelda.
You'll want to beat it and save afterwards if you want to do the second quest.
I don't think there's much different though, I haven't bothered with it yet myself.
