Indiana Jones (PC) starting to annoy me now (double whip-swings)
So far I've really enjoyed this game, I'd really prefer an in-game save feature but in some regards it's added to the excitement not having it.
I'm starting to begrudge the time I'm having to spend on this game though...right now I'm in the area with the Chinese guards and gong, I fight them and then have to do a double whip-swing to get from scaffold to scaffold and I think I just went through this sequence about 12 times this evening, keep falling and dying.
A level or two back I was eventually able to do a triple whip swing but I'm not getting this one. What exactly is the trick to the double and triple whip swings?? This has pretty easily been the hardest thing to do in the game for me. Am I supposed to hang on to the first post, swing back and forth, then release and whip again quickly, or just do it all in one continuous motion? But I've tried both and just keep falling.
@#$% if there was even a tutorial map where you could just practice till you got the knack.

I played the Xbox version, but i doubt there is much difference between the two. I also had a little trouble in this section until i learned to hang on to each post, swing back and forth, and then release and swing to the next one. Trying to immediately swing from one post to another got me killed, but doing it slowly i had zero problems.

Ahh fresh day, I'll try it again this afternoon. Yeah I think the XBox version is virtually identical - the strategy guide says it's for both and doesn't differentiate.
I'll try it again, one whip at a time.
