- Sega is developing Super Monkey Ball 3: Banana Crazy for GameCube, the 3rd installment of the popular action game. This time the game will have LAN support, allowing 8 characters to battle over the GameCube LAN cable. The game will be released in Q1 2004. - In addition, Sega's Overwork team is working on a new RPG for GameCube called Knight N' Knight, which is the sequel to Clockwork Knight for Sega Saturn. - Japanese manga magazine KoroKoro mentioned that Nintendo of Japan will release another Star Fox title for GameCube, besides the Namco developed Star Fax Armada. - Japanese KoroKoro magazine also revealed a list of titles Nintendo will be released in Japan for this year (note: these titles are not confirmed by Nintendo): GameCube Pokemon Channel: Together with Pikachu (July 18) Pokemon Stadium (Autumn) Mario Golf: Family Tour (September) Mario Kart (2003) Mario Party 5 (2003) Pikmin 2 (2003) Wario World (2003) Custom Robo (2003) StarFox (2003) GameBoy Advance Super Mario Advance 4 (July 18) Pokemon Pinball Ruby & Sapphire (Summer) Legend of Stafi 2 (September) Mario & Luigi RPG (2003) |
I swear to God, Super Mario Advance 4 better be Super Mario Brothers 3 or I'm going to go apeshit.
Mario and Luigi RPG? Im assuming this is Super Mario RPG for SNES with now Luigi as a character? Cooll.....
Super Mario Advance 4 is going to be Yoshi's Story. It's the port of the N64 game.
Where's Super Mario Advance Collection for GC or GBA (contain Super Mario Advance 1-4) :)
it's possible !!! |

That's lame if SMA 4 is Yoshi's story. While fun, that was maybe the easiest game I've ever played.
A remake of Mario RPG would be sweet, I loved that game. Another Star Fox is welcome too, hopefully it's another shooter. The other stuff doesn't really interest me much, aside from Mario Kart. |

It was in Gamepro this month. Just a little blurb, and no information anywhere else, but everyone seems to believe it.
Yoshi's Story? Yuck. I beat that game the first time I played it. I can't remember for sure, but I either never died or only died once. Thankfully I didn't buy it.
looks like some good games for the GC :)
I would hold out hope that Nintendo will do SMA4 right. We should know in a few days :) |
BTW, since Yoshi's Story was an N64 game and the GBA is just slightly more powerful than the SNES, wouldnt' they have to tone down the graphics some?
They could probably have just released SMAS for GBA instead of dragging out those installments.
Looks like Lamepro was wrong! SMA4 will be a conversion of Super Mario Bros. 3!
