How do you get in if you arent a member of the press or the gaming industry? I'm under the impression that a lot of people manage to get in that aren't supposed to be there.

bdshot, you buy a ticket. It usually costs anywhere from $375-500

No, if you want to buy a ticket, it's $275 (for Exhibits only); and anybody can do that if they have that kind of dough.

in previous years you had to show an ID plus two forms of company id(w2,paystub,business card...) to get a pass. not sure why you think this has changed.

To pick up a preapproved badge you only need an ID however.

The price you listed is after 4/5/03. On the applications that was mailed out in January, it was $275 for Package Four - Exhibits only.

Ha, nice banner.

can anyone post a list or a link that lists the celebrities that will be at E3 this week? I'd like to get a heads up on who's going to be there. Thanks

I've got a few extra pre approved guest passes. Maybe I should try to sell them outside the expo tomorrow ;)

Not that I want your guest passes but how does one go about getting one for a friend if you go?
