I'd like to think my local store would have the adapter but my luck isn't that good. It took me forever to get Beach Spikers for 9.99. I want a broadband adapter so bad but I know making the trip out would be a waste.

I went to 2 best buys today...... neither of them had this deal on onimusha... and neither had a GC broadband adapter .. =(

But I did pick up 9 strategy guides for a 10 cents... =)

I was at Best Buy today as well, and Onimusha 2 wasn't $9.99...

checked 3 BBs and didn't see it. Paid $15 for it though, not a bad price at all for an OK game like Onimusha 2.

No deal on Onimusha 2 like everyone else ($19.99).

picked up onimusha 2 and legacy of kain for $10 each from amazon... just noticed that they are charging sales tax now b/c it's going thru toysrus.

also noticed that those nickels that i earned thru their trivia thing never shows up anywhere. anyone know what's going on w/ that?

I've bought Onimusha 2 twice now and both times I couldn't get into it. The cinematics look cool, but the game played like crap (IMO).

Ordered one from Amazon. I figured I could get $10.60 worth of enjoyment from it. The reviews on http://www.allps2.com were positive, so I took the chance. Thanks ottolam and Jtnguyen12 for the heads up!

Yeah - I bought it for the Xbox (along with a bunch of other games I wasn't sure of) and played it for a few minutes and my friend told me all the games I bought sucked, so I got frustrated and sold them. I didn't lose any money or anything. Then several months later I decided to give it another chance... he was right - it sucked, so I sold it again.

I think you originally bought Genma Onimusha, which was an enhanced port of the original Onimusha.

Oh - so that was just the first one? I thought there was one before it. So Onimusha 2 is a new one and there was an Onimusha 3 at E3? Is that right?

Also - if I didn't care for Genma Onimusha, will I be just as disappointed with Onimusha 2 or 3? I'm a big fan of Takehashi Kaneshiro and Jean Renaut (sp on both?) and again the cinematics look cool.

I rented Onimusha 2 when it came out because there were no other good games out at the time. Even so, I thought it was awful. The whole structure of enemies constantly respawning on every screen while you're running around trying to solve nonsense puzzles is really primitive.
