Ikaruga?
 

Anybody play the new shooter Ikaruga for the Gamecube?

It looks like it could be a fun update of the 2-D action/shooter genre....

With some positive comments, I might just pick this up at Best Buy on my next trip... but I don't know anyone that's actually played it.

If you like shooters then this is a must buy.

One of the best games i have played in awhile.

It's good, but short. I got to the end of the third level on Normal difficult in my first hour of playing. Kind of a bummer, considering there are only 5 levels.

But, like they say, shooters aren't about getting to the end, it 's about beating your high score and all that...
