ICO is one of the best games ever... I didn't even know there was a sequel in the works. How exciting. The graphics were so pretty - especially for PS2... I was hoping they would put it on a more powerful console, but I'm just happy they're continuing the franchise.

It's a Sony first party title...

Or were you just talking about PS3 or something?

For a game that really didn't sell all too well, I am not only surprised that they are making a sequel, but very enthusiastic. ICO was such a great game, that I continue to own it even though I have already beaten it. These shots look like they come from the openning movie to me. What a great game.

Oh right - that's why... I forgot. I just remember playing it and being amazed and then thinking - "whoa - what if this was on the Xbox or GC".

Oh - I'd love to see an ICO game on the PS3 - no doubt it would be breathtaking.

Woo hoo! Where dod you get these screenshots? I've been waiting for this game for ages. I loved the first one. I wonder if it's a sequel or just set in the same "universe"?

Amazing game, the first one. Too short, but that didnt stop it from being one of the most compelling, beautiful games I've ever played. I'm stoked that they're doing a sequel. I sure hope it has the simplicity of the first one.

I think the sales after it reached greatest hits status sealed the deal on doing a sequel. Although it was a shorter game many people picked it up for the $19.99 price.

Sony was leaning towards not making a new game from what i had heard since sales were a bit disappointing before the price drop.

Great news.....Ico 2 should be something to look forward to hopefully in the near future. I'm not sure why the original did not fair better especially with the excellent reviews it received. Guess when a game comes along which makes you think in order to get through a game....some people seem to shy away and go after the game which is all about blood and guts....and codes out the ying yang so they can cheat their way through.
