does anyone know if there are any cheat codes for RED FACTION 1 (ps2) I have gotten myself stuck in an impossible location with nothing but a pistol & facing a dozen armored,shotgun wielding guards.....
I have all but given up on this game instead of starting 10 levels back which it keeps taking me to.

I have looked around but only gameshark codes seem to apply & I don't have that.

I need some ammo or invincibility to get past this damm screen.

any help appreciated!

I have heard that there aren't any, but have you tried the alleged codes here and here?

I have checked about 20 diferent sites, but none had any codes or cheats...just tips that didn't help my situation.

<I chose the lab coat over all my armor & weapons before knowng that I didn't have to go that route....really screwed myself!>

Clearing out my old saves, I came across my old RF1 save. One game takes up over 2800K, or about 35% of an 8 MB card. That's disgusting. Even RPGs only take 500K. I wonder if they couldn't figure out how to compress the data at that point yet?

You must have multiple saves, as my RF1 save file only takes up about 500k. I have loads of game saves on my card, and still have 4MB free on it.
