Thanks

Thanks for the update. Great Job.

Looks like X2 @ Best Buy w/ $10 GC and movie ticket is a good deal considering I have another x2 ticket from the X-men 1.5 DVD.

I picked up Metroid Fusion from Best Buy last week for $29.99. However, I used one of the $5 off coupons, which brought by total down to $24.99. Would Best Buy price match Circuit City's price of $24.99 and still give me the $5 off with the coupon if I took my receipt back in?

Maybe, sometimes they let you pricematch and use a coupon, sometimes not. But one thing will work...

Buy it at Circuit City using the coupon, getting it for 19.99. Then return the old one.

I'd go with what Trevor says.

Although I've had trouble with the CC cashiers the last 2 times I tried using the BB $5 off, I actually had them talk to the manager who approved it.

Is State of Emergency just as BAD as Turok, or worse?

State of Emergency's not bad just not worth paying the PS2 original price of $50, IMO anyway.

Is it a policy to CC to honor competitor coupons, or is this a YMMV situation?

Nationwide store policy.

Like Gideon said though, sometimes you do get funny looks and have to get the manager involved though.

It's definitely YMMV. I got a lot of attitude from the fat cow cashier at the local CC (Westwood Village in LA) when I tried to use Target's "$5 off of Pokemon" coupon. She wouldn't except it and she joked to the other collegue about how I was trying to use a competitor's coupon.

Ben, you should have been insistent and seen the manager. It is their written policy to accept competitor coupons.

I know the cow in question. She's always talking smack about customers. One time she wouldn't validate my parking because I didn't buy anything, even though it is the store's policy to validate. She's like a 600-pound ball of attitude.

May not appeal to everyone, but it did to me. Bestbuy has Sim Mania 2 (including SimCity 3000, SimTheme Park, SimCoaster and Sid Meier's SimGolf) for $14.99 and you can even get free shipping on their site if you don't want to spend the gas.

Great deal on great sims.

Where is it written? I want to show up with that written policy next time I try this (which I plan on doing...I'll show that cow!)

I've never seen it, but have been told it by managers there.

That's what I had heard, but when I snuck into my local Sams (didn't have a membership card) they didn't have any copies. They only had a small cardboard endcap, near the DVD's that didn't have much of anything. It's too bad, I would have gotten a membership if they would have had any kind of selection.

I was at my local Wal-Mart last weekend, and they had Metroid Fusion for $19. Golden Sun for $15.
