Is MGS Substance worth it if I have MGS?
 

I'd love to play those extra missions but plunking down an extra $40-$50 is not really what I had in mind. Is the original Sons of Liberty on this disc too? And more importantly how does this game benefit MGS fans who already paid $50 for the original?

I personally say wait til its in the Bargain Bin. I bought MGS2 for the PS2 used for about $24 back in '01. Bought MGS2: Substance for the Xbox a few weeks ago for $23.88 new. I don't feel ripped off in the least.

That said - I dunno if I'd pay $50 for Substance - while the VR Levels are nice and some of the mini-stories are decent, it just isn't worth the $50, especially if you already own the original version.

Oh and Yes, the original MGS2 is included in it.

In other words... wait til its in the bargain bin :)

I haven't played either game but i'm going to wait for Substance on the PS2 to drop in price nonetheless.

The game just came out. You might be talking about MGSII (PS2)or MGS Substance for the X-Box which you can get for $19.99. MGS Substance for PS2 has MGSII in it plus all the extra stuff and is still for $39.99.
