Dragon's Lair 3D in 1080i Comments
 

I have debated for quite some time to pick this game up. I'm a fan of the original and the reworking of this game was interesting to me. I have searched long and hard on the net for comments on how the 1080i support looked and was unable to find anyone talking about it. Well let me say that Drangons Lair 3D in 1080i is nothing short of completely stunning. This game displays in an unprecedented clarity that is simply stunning. The gameplay while apearing to be somewhat simplistic is fun nontheless. Anyway I just wanted to chime in on the HiDef mode comments in case anyone else was considering the purchase.

I agree 100% - it's a beautiful game. I just wish the gameplay left me wanting to play it more.

It's too bad they had to cut out some texture maps to accomodate the higher resolution. For example, at the beginning of the game, the purple sky is a solid color in 1080i. Play it in 480, and you get a texture-mapped purple sky with clouds. Still, the game looks fantastic.
