Just wanted to get some idea of what people had finished and were into right now seeing as there are a bunch of great games out. Plus I haven't seen a thread like this for a while.

Just finished/sold :
GTA:VC- Great game with unlimited gameplay. Think I eventually liked this one better than GTA3 but it took a while to grow on me. The motorbikes really did it for me especially weaving in and out of traffic while runing from the cops. Soundtrack was great too. Didn't really want to sell it but $30 from Gamespot was hard to turn down.

Need for Speed:HP2- I actually never got into this game as much as the PSone game. The action seemed to get a bit repetitive and the courses weren't all that great. Sold it before the value came down too much.

Playing Now:
Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance- I got in on the Target greatest hits deal and really wanted to play this game. So far it has not dissapointed. I can't tear myself away from it. The co-op mode is cool too, but this sort or dungeon crawling game is begging for online support. Awesome water effects and shadows too for such an early PS2 game. I think I needed a hack-and-slash game after all the naarative driven games I've been playing. Plus it's nice to have a game you can fire up and play for 15 minutes at a time.

Resident Evil: CVX- Got it in the target deal too. So far I am not that into it. After Devil May Cray and Silent Hill, RE seems so slow and contrived now. Plus the tank controls really blow big time. I'll play this after I'm done with Baldur's gate. Hopefully I can bring myself to finish it.

Anticipating:
Midinight Club 2- I liked the first one a lot and the sequel will have online play. I also got in on that EBgames deal for the PS2 network adapter plus EQ:OA for free. Sold the game to get the NA for free :D Anyway, online racing should be awesome. Anyone here getting this too so we can plan some sort of touney?

Halo - I played through most of it before, but never finished it. I had watched my roommates finish it before. Got the urge to play it, so me and one of my roommates played all the way through. Lots of fun. Got me in the mood to play some more FPS games, which lead to what I'm playing now.

Currently Playing
Half-Life - Playing Halo got me in the mood to go back and play Half-life again. I haven't played this game in years. I couldn't find my CD, so I went to the store and bought the Platinum Edition, which has Half-Life, Opposing Force, Blue Shift, Team Fortress, and Counter Strike. I'm just past the part where you have to launch the huge rocket. So, I've still got a ways to go, as I remember. The game is starting to show it's age, but it's still hella fun. I love having firefights with the soldiers. They still haven't learned to stay away from exploding crates though. ;) Oh, that's one thing I hate about this game. Boxes. I forgot how much I hate having to jump on boxes, or break boxes, or move boxes. Pretty much anything to do with boxes. Boxes suck. -ptth-
