Dead or Alive 3......Help!
Need some help with DoA 3 (for Xbox if it makes a differance)
When going through the excercises in sparring mode, sometimes the attack (punch, kick, etc) buttons show a small sliver of white along the bottom of the button on the display showing either which buttons to push, or which ones need to be pushed to execute that move.
I've looked in the manual, and I cannot find what that white sliver is supposed to represent. Playing around with it, it doesn't seem to be length of time button is pressed, or delay until next button is pressed, or..... Anyone know what it means (or at least what I'm talking about? )

I'm not sure I know what you're talking about, but there's a mode where you can see what buttons you have to press to pull off whatever move they're teaching you and the white and black buttons appear as white and black buttons - they're smaller than the ABXY buttons, so they appear smaller on the screen - maybe that's it. And DOA3 is only available on Xbox afaik.

Ahhh, guess I just need more practice to get the feel of it then. I wondered if they were sensitive to diiferent amounts of pressure and I thought I had tried varying the amount of pressure I used. Like I said, guess I just need more time to get used to it in order to know how much (or how little) to use.
Thanks!

Actually, isn't the "light" or "hard" button press more associated with the pressed duration rather than the amount of actual pressure applied? So a light attack would be a tap on the button, while a hard attack requires you to hold down the button a little longer?
