Is the Gamecube Keyboard ever going to see the light of day in the US?
We've been playing Animal Crossing for the last week and I'm getting sick of typing letters with the controller. After looking through some posts on AC from a few months ago, some one mentioned the keyboard they imported from Japan for the Phantasy Star Online game... and said it was compatible with the US systems... and if I remember correctly, AC.
So are we ever going to see it here in the US? or is my only choice to import it or scope out eBay? Here's what it looks like:
http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ngc/l_goods/ascii_kc.jpg
... also what about the SD/Memory card? It would be cool to post your AC town online for other folks.
http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ngc/acce/sd_mcard.jpg
|
The SD adaptor should have been made available at launch. It would have solved all the memory card issues. Nintendo dropped the ball on that and it cost them big time.
The keyboard probably won't make it stateside. If Phantasy Star had been a bigger seller there may have been more demand. |
I have the keyboard and it is NOT compatible with Animal Crossing.

Originally posted by Goldberg74 That's good to know. Some folks on eBay were saying that it did. |
