X Arcade Stick ? DC or Xbox

Well I decided that I'm getting the X Arcade 2 player version for my MAME Machine, I also have a Dreamcast and Xbox so I'm undecided which version of the stick to get. I would think their are more games compatible for the DC than the Xbox at this moment, plus the Xbox can interface with a PC Monitor.

Whatcha guys think?

? I was under the impression it used adapters to connect to the consoles, otherwise it's a standard PS/2 port.

*off the check the site*

Edit: Hmmm, guess not. I swear it used to be adaptor based. Maybe I was thinking of the Hotrod joystick.

Either way, I'd recommend the DC, since it has the games I would most likely use the stick for (Marvel v Capcom, Soul Caliber, etc.)

YOU NEED TO BUY ALL OF THEM! Muwahahahahaaaa. The dreamcast gets the most play because of all the arcade games, street fighter series, tons of shooters, and yes soul calibur is awesome... ps2 least, xbox for doa3

It used to be adapter based, it comes default with pc and you just buy the adapters, some stores or online places sell them with a freebie one....

Congrats on the buy, now I'm actually looking for a table to mount it on becuase I don't want to put it on my glass coffee table...

I believe they are $149. Including one adapter for the system of your choice. The usb version is a little more, $179 I think.

I think I'm going insane then. I can't find the listing for getting individual adaptors. It was reading like they were hardwiring it now.

Just ignore me

Dreamcast has the best arcade ports, and most of them are compatible with a digital stick... Sega released their own arcade stick, and compatiblilty is usually noted on the back of the games.

Also, if you want PC monitor support, just get a VGA box for the Dreamcast. You should still be able to find 3rd party VGA boxes for $10-$15 at GameStop or EB.

I got the dual joystick and yes elbow room is kinda an issue, you just have to play a little tilted, but not that bad, if that solo one was $75 I've prolly pick one up too.

But I was also checking out the site, and how come they're not selling adapters anymore, and none on eBay either. Maybe they got rid of the adapters, but that's stupid. That's one of their selling points. "You don't have to buy another arcade controller again." Just one of ours.........

Oh and I paid $150 for mines @ J&R but it came with both ps2 and pc adapter.

The adapters are there just buried on a subpage you get to buy them after you put the stick in your cart, as an accessory

I ordered the Xbox X-Arcade for $150. This package is supposed to have the Xbox connector for included. Then a couple of days later, I decided that I wanted to use the X-Arcade with my PC too, for MAME. So I called up Xgaming to order the PC adapter. They told me that currently, the X-Arcade is shipping with the PC adapter included. They said that I'll get both the Xbox adapter AND the PC adapter in the box. Sure enough, when it arrrived yesterday, both were in there.

The kicker is that I still suck eggs in C vs. SNK2 EO!

On the Xbox adapter for the X-Arcade, there are 2 slots for memory cards. One of the slot can be used for the Live mic. Works just fine for me.
