Classic Poll Week #2: Duck Hunt vs Hogan's Alley
This week's face off is between 2 classic Nintendo light gun games. Both of these were available in the arcade and on the NES.

Duck Hunt had 2 modes, ducks or clay.
Hogan's Alley had 3 modes, regular, sidewalk and that damn can game.

So cast your vote, and voice your reasons below!

(And yes.. we ALL wanted to shoot the dog in Duck Hunt..)

HA always gave me the creeps for some reason... granted i was like 5 or 6 at the time... i went with DH.

I voted for Duck Hunt, simply because when I was 5 or 6, I was not into the idea of things appearing on the screen I wasn't allowed to shoot.

Hogan's Alley here. Both games are solid - but I hated the f'n dog so much.....

Hogan's Alley all the way. I could play that all day long, but I could never get into Duck Hunt at all.

Duck Hunt baby! I never really played HA near as much. I just played Duck Hunt recently at my girlfriend's. I forgot how much I liked it

never played HA.

i remember taping the controller down on player 2 to always make the ducks go the same direction.

Are you guys enjoying these calssic gaming polls? I have plenty of ideas to keep em going and not simply "Is this game better than this one..", and I'm open for ideas as well..

Next week's should be fun.

Anyone remember GumShoe where you had to shoot the guy to keep him up in the air? Tough game.

I also remember a game like Hogan's Alley with a western theme.

Duck Hunt.
My friends and I would always have shoot-offs and crap. Yes, we hated the dog, and we always shot at him anyway....
I only played Hogan's Alley once, when I was 6 or 7 I think, and didn't like it.

Gum Shoe was awesome!! But the best Zapper game for the NES was hand's down, BARKER BILL'S TRCIK SHOOTING. Wow.

Duck Hunt. I loved that game, and I agree, the dog pissed me off. I always used to cheat and go right up next to the screen.
