What game have you put the most HOURS into? (PC or console)

For me, it would have to be TRIBES for the pc:

I use to play this for hours upon hours. At one time, I was ranked the 7th best player worldwide on http://www.theclq.com/

Highlight to my Tribes career, was at one E3 convention I capped the flag playing against 3 of the games programmers.

What game have you put WAY TOO MANY hours into?

Super Smash Brothers. We have had a copy of it at my fraternity ever since it came out. I'd skip class to play it with my friends. There'd be weekday nights where we would start around 9 p.m. and next thing you know it's 3 in the morning. This has been going on for years and years. We've had about three Smash tournaments as well. God I love this game.

So if you add all those hours, i'm sure it's easily thousands of hours.

I don't think I've ever played a game as much as Tekken 2. My friends and I played it constantly in college.

Keyser, did you ever play Q2 CTF?? Were you ever in a clan out on the east coast? For some reason, it suddenly remembered a Keyser Soze that played on the Springfield server, and he was a pretty good CTF player (not as good as me of course ).

Yea, I played that. I was never in a clan, but use to always play on servers w/ clan guys.

For some reason I use to always end up playing against 2 guys names Grak, and Mouse.

(They were buds and use to always play at the same time). Me and Mouse knew all each others moves, hiding locations, etc. It use to get pretty personal (since we'd always play against each other).

Both of us use to play as a 'light' with a sniper gun. I use to sneak around and flank him, dig a 'mine' in the ground behind him, then turn my chain gun on.

He'd spin, step on the mine, and die... jackass.

Single player game: Baldur's Gate 2

Multiplayer game: Age of Empires II

When I was a kid, I probably clocked hundreds of hours playing Bard's Tale II. I used to painstakinly make maps on grid paper. Then I realized that I caught buy a hint book with maps. Made life much easier.

Probably Goldeneye for me. We used to have 8 hour 2 on 2 marathons with me and a bunch of buddies. With those dreaded proximity mines you better not die, or you heard that damn music 400 times in a row. Du-nuh duh-NUH.

NBA 2K2 on Dreamcast. I think I played about a decade worth of seasons on it.

Phantasy Star Online on the Cube looks like it may end up with the record though. I'm getting pretty addicted to it and I haven't even gone online yet.

Asheron's Call....

1 character has almost 2 months of playtime (2 months as in 2 months on every single minute). Another character has about 1.5 months, another character has 1 month, the other 2 leftover probably has about 10 days worth... That's almost 5 months of sitting in front of the computer over a span of 2.5 years.... Yikes. I think I am going to quit while I am ahead.
