You ever see a "blue" playstation debug?
If you do a search using the words "playstation debug" on eBay, this one shows up.
<img src=http://ebay0.ipixmedia.com/abc/M28/_EBAY_41fa7f3ce2920052933d1721ee32616f/i-1.JPG> Debugging units are pretty cool. I've been looking for a 'teal' one for sometime now. I already have a US blue one like this. A cool thing with these blue units was that it had an external power supply. (Anyone remember the original psxs' overheating?) Basically it's just like a 'legally chipped' psx. It has no region coding so it'll boot up domestic, imports, and gold beta discs. -k ### |
Is that one of the Yaroze PSXs which you can use for programming?

I know someone who has one.. very nice indeed.

How much do these run for?

Not sure what the going price is for these guys. When I purchased mine I think I paid $350 for it. These days if anyone is buying one, they're more than likely buying it as a collectable (since it only plays the old psx games).
I'd say they're still probably worth at least $200-250. -k ### |
That is really cool.
