Originally posted by sararekuforever I have some old systems I do not use anymore: a Sega Genesis and a Turbografx 16. Each has several controllers, several games, etc. I am too lazy to hook them up, especially since everything is getting rereleased or can just be emulated. If anyone wants to buy it off me, email me. Drop me a line with your Genny and TG16 stuff, I may be interested in picking it up from you. |

Nice stuff!
I'll have to post updated pics when I get home. |
I have a small 3 bedroom house......and all this stuff BARELY fits in there. We need a new house :)
We may let ya move in if you're a hot lookin woman tho :p Some of you guys have some insane setups! I wish I had a big screen TV to play Halo on :( |
- PS2 + 7 games + 6 PS1 games (Castlevania SOTN will never be traded)
- XBox + 7 games - Gamecube + 4 games - Saturn + 12 games (missed my window of opportunity to trade it) - Super Joy system - 100 8bit NES games in a controller/system combo shaped like a N64 comtroller (+ 2nd controller and lightgun) - Amiga 500 computer + 50 or so games - Cyber Acoustics 4 speaker surround system w/subwoofer under desk - 4-input Philips powered switchbox - PS2/XB/GC connected via Svideo & Amiga via RCA to rear of TV, Super Joy and Saturn connected to TV's front jacks when in use - 27 in. Symphonic flat-screen monitor. Too big for the desk really, but damn if it doesn't really put you in the middle of the action :) I trade a lot of games so my on-hand library isn't very deep, but what's there is stuff I will play for a long time - Halo, GTA series, Midway & Activision compilations, Splinter Cell series, etc. I even have my original copy of Ridge Racer, bought with my original PS1, along with the aforementioned SOTN. |
I've been meaning to do this for awhile. I was going to start a new thread but I found this one so here goes. (Don't mind the dust)
This is my room where I do most of my gaming (Saturn, Dreamcast, PlayStation 1-2, Gamecube, Xbox, Game Boy Advance SP): http://img191.exs.cx/img191/3880/myroom1rf.jpg This is the office where everyone else usually plays (Sega Master System, Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast, PlayStation 1-2, NES, N64, Turbo Grafx-16, Turbo Duo, Pc Engine): http://img21.exs.cx/img21/3852/mvc005f5zy.jpg The games: PS 2 (56 games) http://img115.exs.cx/img115/2756/ps22hl.jpg DC (40), PS 1 (78), and GB (11) http://img191.exs.cx/img191/395/dcps9hh.jpg PS1 cont., XBox (18) and GC (4) http://img191.exs.cx/img191/2129/psxb9pw.jpg Saturn (50) http://img191.exs.cx/img191/5747/saturn6rx.jpg Master System (27), Turbo's (65), N64 (15) http://img115.exs.cx/img115/2808/master16640lq.jpg |
Wow, that TV in the first pic is old school. Should be a mortal sin playing Halo 2 on that rig. Your collection of games is very sweet.
|
Yea I know. The Sony I have now may be tiny but at least it still has great color and contrast to it, so I guess its still serviceable.
I will be upgrading to a 30 inch Phillips HDTV soon so it won't be a mortal sin for long :). |
Wow, Mano365 that tv picture brings back memories. I used to have one just like it.

Well, dont I bring this back from the dead. Not much has change, but some new additions. First and foremost the 360 sitting on top of the cable box. I also added netgear music streaming box( I hardly use it). I got rid of the CD jukebox and the Dreamcast. Its in the bedroom right now. I plan to get an HDTV (35-42 inch) by March just in time for Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion .

This is our family room. My wife has called it "a shrine to playing video games," which sounds really cool. When she says it however, it sounds like an insult. Go figure.
Here's the X-Box 360 that I was able to snag before X-mas. It's hooled up to a 32" LCD panel: http://members.cox.net/videophile/xbox1.jpg The NES, SNES, and Sega Genesis: http://members.cox.net/videophile/xbox2.jpg This TV has the PS2, N64 and origianl XBox hooked up to it. Over the TV is a stereo receiver hooked up to stream audio from my PC or any of the more advanced systems. http://members.cox.net/videophile/xbox4.jpg Here's a picture of the whole set-up. There are more shelves to the right, but I couldn't fit them in the picture. http://members.cox.net/videophile/xbox5.jpg We purposely didn't put much furniture in this room so the kids would have a large area to play, set up army men, etc. The only thing to sit on are some very comfortable and rugged bean-bag type chairs. They are filled with shreaded matress foam, so they retain their shape over time. Here's the kids playing with the new 360: http://members.cox.net/videophile/Xbox3.jpg |
God bless chordless controllers.
