My Zelda Bonus disc shipped today from ebgames.com
 

Woohoo. I'm so excited. I received an email from ebgames that they shipped the bonus Zelda disc today using fedex 1-day shipping. Can't wait to play Ocarina of Time again on GC.

Mine also shipped.

I hope the EB stores will have them soon.

Mine too. I have a bunch of stuff I have to do this weekend so the wait until Monday is a good thing.

Oh well I can wait. I'm sure Animal Crossing will keep me busy.

mine shipped. i will have to beat metroid and SOA: legends before i play it though. looks like i will be playing the wind waker before i get a chance to re-beat OOT...... i will be replaying it though.

I'll check it out once I receive my copy. I know this is going to be weird on GC's controller especially the Z-button.

A number of Toys R Us have told me that they will begin handing out the Bonus disk on 2/12, not the 16th.

Probably. It's one of the best games I ever played, and I only played through it once, which was right when it first came out.

Plus I'm not really playing any other game religiously right now. I have Kingdom Hearts, but I haven't been able to get into it and will probably end up selling it, and The Sims on PS2 which I just play from time to time. I beat most of the games on my backlog during X-mas break from grad school. I don't have the money to buy another game right now, so I'll just play through OOT and/or master quest before the new Zelda comes out next month.

i still need to beat the last boss in metroid. lol im slacking

This extra Zelda disc, do you only get it when you preorder? Is there no way to also get that disc if I get Zelda come release day?

holy damn, I got my Zelda bonus disc today, I cant believe how fast they got that out... woohoo is right!

I popped it in, hoping it would have "updated" graphics, but then remember it was based on the 64 platform only. Still cool though, I've started the master quest, and will continue to play it as long as it adds more challenging elements to the first OOT, Im looking forward to seeing what theyve come up with..

and honestly, does this wet my apetite until Windwaker.. NO =) i wont be satisfied till that day comes =)

I ordered from gamestop because they were having a free overnight shipping deal. Anyone know when gamestop is shipping it?

I was over at WalMart in Brea CA picking up the Casualties of War DVD for $5.88 when I saw the free Zelda games sitting on the counter. I asked about them and the cashier said they were $10. She was going to sell me the games for $10! I asked about the pre-order and she said that was another $10. I had to explain to her that the $10 was for the pre-order and that the games came free with the pre-order. So, I ended up pre-ordering WindWaker at WalMart and got the free games instantly. Then I went over to EB, cancelled my pre-order and got my money back. When they asked why I cancelled my order I told them about WalMart and they said something about WalMart getting fined $1000 for breaking the Feb 16th street date. I just left. Now it's time for me to settle down with OoT which I have never played. I'm so excited.

I too got an e-mail about my pre-order disc being prepared for shipping, should have by now. The only thing is my total was $49.99 + $5.00 (shipping for the bonus disc early) and it equaled out to $64.98. I'm sure it's an honest mistake, but they have already heard from me about it ;)

How is it packaged? Does it come in a regular GameCube game case or just a sleeve?

Ha ha. I saw some auction on ebay where they had a custom case for this game, since they said it would come in a paper sleeve. It looked pretty nice, but I bet whoever paid the $25.00 for it feels pretty dumb.

Thanks for the reply on the case. I was hoping it would come in a nice case. Looks like I will have to wait until the 16th though to get it.
