its not listed on gamespot as a game in development for xbox or on the konami site, how hard is it to make 2 seperate games?i mean do they just convert using a code or is it a long,lengthy process to remake the game for a whole new system, i.e ncaa fb has essentially the same stuff for both consoles, if they just kept the same grpahics and stuff whats the process for puttign the same game out on xbox? or visa versa

There's a lot of coversion work to be done. Not so much now as in the old days, when games were written in complete assmbler code for optimal speed. In the SNES/Genesis days 2 seperate games DID have to be programed essentially. Im pretty sure today's games are created with a C style language, which makes cross platforming much easier.

This French website says SH 3 will be on XBox, but I haven't read elsewhere about it.

Anyways, back to the topic on hand. I loved the first Silent Hill. It basically scared the crap out of me...and I never finished it. It was very interesting. I don't think I liked them covering up all their mistakes with excessive fog. One day, I will complete it. :) Never played Silent Hill 2 but I have some interest in it and will hopefully buy it soon. For about $15, I'd rather buy it than rent it. And then I will give the third one a shot...
